I really think we should be inviting ourselves to keep an open mind as we try to come up with new ideas
Sometime two summers ago, two drummers ago, we were on a roll and it seemed much easier to talk about all this
Maybe it’s because of the pandemic I personally have such a hard time now in social situations like this
Anyway with the time it takes to put a record out these days it seems like I ought to finish the latest tracks as soon as I possibly can
Maybe we should avail ourselves of all the powers at our command
Maybe some kind of black magic symbol that makes us better at improvising in a cohesive way together
While we’re at it let’s think of a way to keep this whole thing from becoming some kind of meme
In the meantime I’m going to take a quick solo just to see what it would sound like, we don’t have to keep it if it’s bad
